2. News: Here’s a cool story about a homeless teen making it into Harvard. This is a short version of the story from USAToday. You can read more of the story at The Shelby Star Online. This is an inspiring story that reminds us that we can make a difference in our students lives, and it also reminds us to believe in our students and be there for them in the hard times.
3: Link: My post on Thursday referenced this site, and I think that it is due a lot more checking out by myself in particular! I had not previously explored Reading Rockets, but there are a lot of articles, ideas, and resources for teaching reading and education in general over there. You should definitely check it out!!
