I know, I’m a bit mixed up. It’s been a busy weekend! So, let’s just stick with three, because three wishes are better than two!! And, tomorrow, we’ll move on to one. 🙂 Can we just slip a little and call it square? Thanks. You’re the best.
3. I hope that you love your job. It’s pretty cool to walk into the classroom each morning and know that you are changing the future in the present.
2. I hope that you love your students. I hope that you remember that they are people, and that as annoying or difficult as they may sometimes be, that is evidence of their humanity, and their humanity is the reason that you chose this profession in the first place.
1. I hope that you are constantly growing in your excitement of life, all it has to offer, all the wonders there are to explore, and that you are passing on that excitement to your students. Life is a journey in learning, and the teacher that knows that, can communicate that, and can create little learners who will continue to grow long after they have walked out of our classrooms. I call that success.
