It’s late. I really wanted to title this Mull-berries or Brain Candy, but I refrained. I used them in the opening sentence instead. Is that better? I wanted to share a few thoughts from some reading from a publication I picked up at the Storytelling Conference that I just wrote about. I’d love to hear your thoughts and reactions to these quotes! And, for any Turkish readers, bonus material below!!
From Sunay Akın:
The mental capacity of the teachers is of course, also very important, but I believe the most influential teachers will use drama, imagination, and storytelling in the classroom.
Öğretmenin zihni kapasitesi de elbette çok önemli ama bence en etkili öğretmenler sınıfta dramayı, hayal gücünü ve hikaye anlatımını kullananlardır.
If the teacher is intelligent, and has modern ideas, and if the teacher is constantly trying to better himself or herself by reading books, and keeping up-to-date with the local art scene and events, they will certainly bring light to all the places they go.
Eğer öğretmen zekiyse, düşünceleri modernse, kitap okuyarak kendini güncelliyorsa ve sanat etkinliklerini takip ediyorsa gittiği her yere ışık götürür.
