5 Ways To Get Paid While On Summer Vacation

Are you planning on going on summer vacation this year? If so, it would be wise to look into a method of making money while on vacation, to compensate for the financial loss. When at ease, it is always nice to have a secondary income source coming in. Here are five ways you can make money with a teaching certification, even on vacation.

Write a Book

You already have done all of the research to compose non-fiction, educational books. If you have a masters degree or a teaching certification, you acquire experience every day. It could be a simple book on your specifics or more in-depth on teaching methods. All you have to do, after you write the book, is self-publish your book. Try using Amazon as a self-publisher.

Answer Other Teachers’ Questions

As a teacher, you make workbooks and other learning materials on a regular basis. Selling your ideas to other teachers is not a huge money maker, but it adds up over time. You can do this on sites such as Enotes. Sites like these pay editors based on their expertise. It’s a great way to make some extra spending money and all you have to do is answer some questions!

Teach Online

You are already a teacher, and it wouldn’t be much of a vacation if you worked all the time but a little extra work never hurts. Look at it as a part-time vacation and part-time work. If you teach online, you may get paid as much as $200 per student that is learning from your online materials. You might even make more than your vacation costs.

Provide Online Customer Service

Large businesses, such as Tiffany and Coach, offer online or telecommuting positions working on their customer service department. This can be a great way for you to use your interpersonal skills to gain extra money online. This will also build your experience working in other jobs. It is always good to have a stacked resume, even if you plan on teaching for the rest of your life.

Start a Blog

If you have a passion for social media or are already involved, people will love to hear about your experience teaching. In fact, it is a great way to professionally network and make use of your teaching certification. Your hours will be your own, but you get what you put into the blog. Don’t expect to make money from blogging without investing time into research or making blog posts weekly. The nice thing about blogging: It will build an income while you are doing anything, such as working, on vacation or watching television. Passive income is one of the best ways to build a nest egg.

There you have it. Five ways you can actually bring in cash while on vacation. Each of these jobs has specific perks, but all of the jobs are easily done from home or on vacation. All you need is a laptop and WiFi! Happy Travels!
